Terms & Conditions

The rules for using LumiCloud: what you get, what is prohibited, and how billing works.

Last updated Oct 13, 2026

01Definitions

LumiCloud provides an IP Public (shared) + Dedicated Port service: a virtual machine (VM) reached through a public IP address shared with other customers and one or more ports reserved for the Customer. The VM sits behind NAT; its own IP address is not public.

02Account & eligibility

  • The Customer must provide accurate registration details and keep credentials confidential.
  • The Customer is at least 18 years old or represents a legal entity.
  • All activity through the account and VM is the Customer's responsibility.
  • We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.

03Nature of the service (NAT / Dev VPS)

This is a NAT / Dev VPS for development, testing, and light workloads. The infrastructure is self-managed and is not a Tier III/IV data center. No specific uptime is guaranteed — see the SLA.
  • Specifications (CPU, RAM, disk, bandwidth quota, number of ports) follow the chosen plan.
  • The public IP is shared; ports are dedicated. Because the IP is shared, its reputation can be affected by other customers. IP/port changes can be requested within the plan's quota.
  • LumiCloud may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.

04Ports, network & bandwidth

  • Each VM gets one SSH port and one block of consecutive ports according to the plan. Ports in the block become active when the Customer enables them in the panel; only ports within the allotment can be enabled.
  • Allotted ports are released and may be assigned to other customers when the VM is permanently terminated.
  • Outgoing SMTP (port 25) is blocked to prevent spam. Access to the operator's internal network and to other customers' VMs is blocked.
  • Bandwidth is measured as total inbound plus outbound traffic per billing cycle. When the quota is exceeded, the plan's overage policy applies (speed limiting, additional charges, or suspension).
  • We may limit concurrent connections and traffic rate per VM to keep the service stable.

05Payment, renewal & grace period

The service is prepaid per billing cycle and becomes active once payment is verified. Billing timeline:

  1. D-7A renewal invoice is issued automatically; reminder emails are sent as the due date approaches.
  2. D+0Due date. The service keeps running during the grace period.
  3. D+3The service is suspended: the VM is shut down and network access is closed. Payment restores it.
  4. D+14The service is permanently terminated: the VM, its data, and snapshots are deleted and cannot be recovered.
Payments received after the service has been permanently terminated do not extend any service and are handled as a refund or credit under the Refund Policy.

06Prohibited use

The Customer must not use the service for:

  • Cryptocurrency mining of any kind;
  • DoS/DDoS attacks, unauthorised port or vulnerability scanning of others, hacking, brute-forcing, and malware distribution;
  • Spam, phishing, and fraud; running open mail relays;
  • Pornography and other illegal content, including intellectual-property infringement, illegal gambling, and activity that breaks the laws of the Republic of Indonesia;
  • activity that harms third parties or the network's reputation, or attempts to bypass network restrictions and inter-VM isolation.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination without refund and, where required, a report to the authorities.

07Security & Customer data

  • The Customer must change the initial password at first login and is responsible for the security of the operating system, applications, and data inside the VM.
The Customer is responsible for backing up their own data. Snapshots are limited by plan, stored on the same infrastructure, and are not a substitute for backups.

08Abuse handling & takedown

  • Abuse reports go to [email protected] with evidence (time, IP, logs).
  • We may suspend a VM suspected of violations without prior notice when there is risk to the network or others, then ask for clarification.
  • We may retain access logs and traffic metrics needed for investigations and hand them to the authorities on lawful request.

09Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LumiCloud is not liable for indirect loss, data loss, or loss of profit. LumiCloud's total liability is limited to the fees the Customer paid for the current cycle.

10Changes to these terms
